Rain rain go away!
It doesn't seem to have stopped raining for 5 straight days now. Still, we could do with the water as a hosepipe ban is in place around here which means that we can't use a hosepipe or spinker to water the garden. All this wet weather has meant that I've been able to scatter some more grass seed and hopefully it will start growing within a week.
So we've been inside most of the weekend. It's been relaxing actually, been able to do some crafty/art projects, and watch a couple of movies. Yesterday we went to see the Da Vinci Code. It was good - Matt enjoyed it more than me I think - he hasn't read the book. It lacked the gripping nature and passion of the book. However, Ian McKellen was excellently cast for the role - it was made for him, as was Paul Bettany - both Birtish actors of course!. I just couldn't get over how unbecoming Tom Hanks mullet hair was! I'm not knocking the film because it was good on the whole and I will get it when it comes out of DVD!
Roll on some summer sun! Next weekend is a bank holiday (extra day off) so we're off up to Wales to see Gabs, David, William and Emily for a few days. Looking forward to rolling hills, sun, sea and sand.
